Q:  Is there a Program Orientation Guide?
A: Yes, a Program Orientation Guide (POG) is mailed  with  your confirmation letter and a receipt. The POG shares information you need to know to prepare for the program.

Q: What is the instructor-to-student ratio?
A: We plan on having a 1:6 staff-to-participant ratio at this academy.

Q:  Are these programs for all kids?
A: Space Voyage Academy is an immersion program for motivated students who have a special interest in the topics.  Students who want to attend do well. Students from all backgrounds and learning styles excel at the academy.

Q: How can I become a student instructor or camp counselor at Space Voyage Academy?
A: All students are encouraged to become student instructors (SI). Prerequisites include:  1) complete Cadet Level 4;  2) gain the confidence of the existing instructor group; 3) complete an  application;  4) attend a conference with program directors and  your parents. 5) complete an apprentice program. Apprentices need to  demonstrate the knowledge, skill, confidence, maturity and strength of character necessary to be successful as an instructor.

Q: How do most students and parents rate Space Voyage programs?
A:  "Great!"... "Terrific !!"... "Five stars." ... "Better than any camp I've gone to." ..."When can I do this again?"… "The instructors are great!" "Doc  and Joe know how to make learning fun."… "Eleven on a 10 point scale."   Approximately 50% of the participants return  the next year.
Q: When and where will the 2004 Summer Space Voyage be held?
A:  The 2004 summer Space Voyage camps are currently being planned. Dates and location will be announced in January 2004.

Q: When will Space Voyage offers programs like this on the Internet?
A: We plan on offering "100 Years of Flight" and other programs on the Internet beginning in March 2004. Check the Web-site for details in February.
