    Important Information About The Programs

A. Payment.
Please send payment with your child's registration.  Make checks payable to Space Voyage.  Please send payment to:  Space Voyage, 1504 South Johnson Court, Lakewood, CO 80232.

B. Academy location, address and directions.
     Programs will be conducted at:   Summit Ridge Middle School in Littleton, Colo. Driving Directions: 1) C-470 to Bowles exit, east on Bowles to Simms, south on Simms to Coal Mine and School.  2) Highway 285 (Hampden) east to Simms exit, travel south to Coal Mine, right on Coal Mine to school. Enter through door marked Space Voyage on west side of building.  Rand McNally: Denver Street Finder (2001); Page 31, Area K.  The school address is:

C. Transportation.
Transportation to and from the program is a parent responsibility. A carpool list will be prepared and e-mailed to interested parents. Please check the application form if you would like to be included.  Car pooling is encouraged.  The program day begins at 8 a.m. sharp. Students may be dropped off as early as 7:20 a.m.  The program day ends at 4 p.m.  Due to rental agreements with the school, students need to be picked up at 4 p.m. sharp.  We must be out of the building by 4:05 p.m. each day.
D. Crew size:  Class size for the "100 Years of Flight" program is limited to 24 students (six crews of four.)  Students are  encouraged  to attend Space Voyage Academy with their friends. "Instructor Conclave" participants will work individually or with one other crew member.  The "Instructor Conclave" program is limited to six participants. Sign-up is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

E. Scholarships: There are no scholarship funds currently available
      through Space Voyage.  Students are encouraged to ask for scholarships from PTOs and school PTSAs.

G. Weather cancellation:  Should severe weather occur, a message will be on the main SV phone number (303-985-3143).  Days missed will not be made up. Should we experience a weather cancellation day, a voucher for credit will be given for use in the 2004 Summer Program.
