CONTEST #2 - SPACE AUTHOR (DEADLINES- April 1, April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 7
Write a web log or BLOG about one aspect of manned space flight that interests you. Your Blog should be between one and two sheets of lined paper in length, then typed up and edited using your computer.
How will we evaluate your entry? Please read the instructions below before beginning.
1) The article is interesting, humorous and makes the reader want to read more.
2) The entry uses correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
3) The article or blog includes references to current events, space history and the future. Your references from internet web sites should be listed at the end of your Blog. Footnotes or other forms of referencing are welcome. Support your Blog with references.
4) The article must be the creative work of the student and cannot be copied, plagiarized or written by parents or others. Any help received needs to be documented after the Blog (i.e., I wish to thank my teacher, Mrs. Miller and my parents for helping me proof my Blog.)
5) The blog should be submitted as the contents of an email. Send the e-mail to dr-palmere@spacevoyage.com and put BLOG ENTRY in the subject line. Be sure to include: your name, age, return address, email address, grade and school. (Click here to submit entry)
6) Winning BLOGS will be posted on the Space Voyage website with the student listed as author.
7) Space Voyage staff reserve the right to edit all submissions; All submissions, upon entry, become the property of Space Voyage.
8) Winners will receive a "Certificate of Publication" from Space Voyage and Space Voyage gear (upon attending Space Voyage Academy this summer.)
9) Rules and Guidelines are subject to change. Changes and additions will be shared on this page in red.
10) A student may enter the contest once per entry round. (See deadline dates above)
